I think Barry Bonds is a disgrace to the sport of baseball.

And I'm from San Francisco!

This is more propaganda smearing Barry Bonds. The sports writers still succeed in brainwashing the people on this minor issue and they take the bait!!!!! The public is getting too carried away with the Bonds issue. Barry donated cleats, a bat and other personal stuff to the HOF. He even signed a bat for Craig Biggio to auction off for charity.

The truth is that since everyone in the World has voiced their displeasure with him, Barry decided to stockpile his memorabilia in a warehouse for the time being. He'll decide what pieces of baseball history to donate (you don't sell stuff to the baseball HOF) to the Hall of Fame based upon the chosen achievement. Just because he has less stuff currently at the hall compared to Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth, does not mean that he kept it away from them on purpose.

The HOF will have a representative follow the chase around as it gets closer, because no one can predict when 756 will happen. The representative will then see what the Giants and Barry will donate to the Hall. There was no hubhub about 715 because Hank Aaron surpassed it for a record and not
Barry. It was just a milestone, not a record.

They just did not ask for a lot of equipment from Barry. He does not have that much in terms of achievements and history compared to those other sluggers. That's the honest truth coming from a true, analytical baseball fan. I don't let the media brainwash me into hating innocent persons.

I am not surprised to hear this after all in recent years Barry has been treated like crap. YOu have 2 clasless individuals in Selig and Aaron saying that they will not attent games as Barry approaches the record. Aaron simply can not accept that Barry is ten times the ball player that Hank ever was. Everyone bashing Barry needs to take a liik at what he has done and to say he will not be in the HOF that goes beyond ignorant and steps into idiotic! I have lost all respect for Hank Aaron after the way he has acted during this whole debacle.

Are you surprised? That has been his persona all along. Not a team player, concerned only with himself, overly impressed with himself, and denigrating of others, Bonds is the perfect example of the kind of person NOT to be. As a model for young people, he is pathetic. He embodies all that is wrong in a warped personality.

Chow!!

As a player, your shouldn't worry about the Hall of Fame until your career is over, otherwise it would become a distraction.

That is vintage Barry Bonds, he really does only care about himself. A great baseball player, but a jerk.

The game and the media are giving him a hard time. I do not blame him one bit for turning his back on them and the game. Bud Selig has said that he will not be in attendance as Barry closes in on Hank. What goes around comes around. Treat Barry like $h1t, and I don't blame him one bit for his comments.

Who cares??!!?? The man is a bitter cheating (allegedly) BUM!!!

He should be held out of the HOF just like Pete Rose, for conduct detrimental to the game. He (among others) brought the integrity of the game into question. I hope he keeps his things, I don't want to see them when I go to the Hall. I want to see players who did it on their own, through hard work and by wanting it more than the next guy.

He can take his gear and go home, sit on that thing where he use to stick the needle (allegedly)!!!!

Barry Bonds stuck on himself--imagine that.
What does the HOF need with his crap? It isn't like he'll ever be elected. Bonds is a punk, and if I had his stuff, I'd put in a garage sale. Bonds needed a swat on his butt more years ago than I can count. Seems too late now. Swell. . . .
