It seems like all baby boy clothes in stores are either baby blue or have sports, insects, or truck themes. I'd love for a mainstream store, like Target, to come out with some really cool clothes.

I am having a boy in September and recently while shopping at the local outlet center, I found a great collection at the Little Me store. It's the giraffe collection and has different blues with chocolate brown. I love giraffes and the colors are different so I bought several outfits from the collection along with the matching socks. Since then, I have seen the same collection (just not all the pieces) at Babies-R-Us.
As someone else posted, Carter's has some different choices also. They have a set out right now that says "Mommy's Little Monster" and has these little dino-like monsters on it that I think is so cute so I had to get that too.
I have found some cute things at The Children's Place, although their current newborn boy's layette is kind of ugly.
Gymboree has some cute things. They are pricier, but I look for the discounted stuff. I recently bought some outfits there with whales on them.
Also, have you tried ebay? Or do you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you? An outlet center?

I thought this was a great question. After I put all the baby clothes away I opened the draw a day later and realized - EVERYTHING was blue. When I go to get more clothes I will definately be looking for something NOT blue.

Your friends are averaging out all the people I know with boys! My SIL just had boy #3, I'm having boy #2, and I know of at least 5 others having/just had boys. Maybe it's just me, but it bothers me when people go on about how they'll dress their girls - girls aren't dolls, they're babies, and I'm SURE they can think of more fun things to do than play dress-up with their little girls! I'm looking forward to my son having a little brother, and for us to have another little boy in the house. They're so huggy, fun and don't cause people around me to want to play dress-up with them! It's easier on me actually - I'd be forever fighting the girly crap from our families, as I am NOT a girly girl and would insist that she still get dinos and all her older brothers hand me downs. Then she'd rebel and become the GIRLIEST girl out there just to spite me. You know how these things go hahaha

My nephew has some cool clothes from Target. Maybe he's taking a different size . . .

Anyway, I would just LOVE to see a color other than pink. Everything in my house is pink, fluffy, sparkly and GIRLY! It's driving me insane. Blue would be welcomed!

YES that irritates me as well for both genders, If it doesnt bother you to go thrift store shopping it seems for me I always find different clothes there. It would be awesome if the big companies would do it but theremaking crazy money w no extra effort as is so i dont see it happening anytime soon.
