the only man or woman who truly knows why Rosie left is Rosie. we are in a position to take a position all we'd like and blame it on ego, fights with the different women, income subject concerns, etc. yet in the tip, in straight forward terms Rosie knows the certainty and why she felt combating with Elizabeth replaced into the thank you to flow out with a bang. in my opinion, i think "The View" is extra clever without Rosie O'Donnell.

I have never watched it. But the fact that I even knew there was a show called 'The View' is thanks largely to the fantastic ratings Rosie drew for that show.

It was a nothing show before she went there.
It grabbed everybody's attention while she was there.
It is back to a nothing show again.

Of course you may not agree with her politics. But no one can deny that she woke that sleepy little show up during her tenure.

The problem is, she is too combative. (Need to cool it a little, Rosie girl.) On the other hand, Elizabeth isn't controversial enough to attract an audience. I predict cancellation within 16 months. (They'll tough it out as long as they can so no one will make the direct connection between Rosie's departure and the inevitable ratings tank.)

Rosie added a lot to the show, including ratings. I think with out all the controversy she added the show might not be sucessful. I personally am not glad she is leaving the view. I love the show.

I like Rosie, but the poor thing is in some serious need of mental help. Maybe her meds are not right for her.

She used to be the goody 2 shoes, sweet as pie, happy lesbian. Now she is the loudmouthed paranoid, psycho dyke from hell.

She needs help. Lets hope she gets it.

And it makes no difference to me if she was on The View or not.
I never watched more than 3 minutes of that drek.

I don't really care for Rosie but at least she spoke her mind and wasn't fake like other people. That's what go her into a lot of trouble for being too honest and sometimes too opinionated. Yeah she was annoying I do admit. Hey, but ratings went up right so whats the big deal with people complaining. Now she is no longer in the air and the View will be BORING again. I hope they get rid of that blond bimbo too and bring in more educated people but who cares maybe they should just get rid of this show altogether.

No I am not happy she's gone. Too many people with "different" point of views are squelched in this country and it's not right. The Repub's was trying to get Ron Paul banned from other debates because he's not following the standard Republican script of what's right and wrong with this country.

STOP TRYING TO LIMIT FREE THINKING!

Thank you.

I'm very happy she's gone, she is nothing but a bully. If she would have stated her opinion and moved along and let others state theirs it would have been one thing, but she's so rude, interrupting and stepping on others words isn't good.

She reminds me of a spoiled little kid, when she didn't get her way, she took her toys and went home.

Good Riddance

I have never watched the view with her on it, but I cant believe the s**t she sturred up while on there. I would have gotten rid of her 2 weeks after she started. I am very glad she is gone.

Yes, I'm very glad she did... she was just a idiot liberal, who was WAY too opinionated and was in your face about it.

Quite honestly, I know I didn't care what her opinion was, and I don't think everybody else did either.

The View bored me to death before Rosie.
I fear now, it will return to the same.
I think Barbara Walters is fearing that, too.
