Yellow
Green
Orange
Indigo
Violet
The colors of the rainbow
How captivating are your colors
You are always watching even after the rain falls down on me
do you see the rainbow? There will be an end to these troubles
Lord, You send your rainbow to make me know everything is okay
I was nothing and you picked me up in your hands
Your there to light up my day
When I look at the rainbow up in the sky I know your love for me is real
And it amazes me that you can still have mercy for me
How could you make so many wonderful things?
When I see the rainbow I keep on praying and try not to give up
Because your promises are real
Lets paint the world with a rainbow

I'm sorry. I read the poem and I don't find one thing redeemable about it, except perhaps the line: Let's paint the world with a rainbow."

Perhaps your creative response could be about the love people have of rainbows and how they have become a symbol of hope after a stormy spell, just as the colors light up the sky and our spirits after a downpour.

Wow! That's really deep and very uplifting. My only criticism is of the word "your" in line fourteen; it's a contraction and should be "you're". And in the last line, don't forget your apostrophe in "let's" (a contraction also!). Amazing job! Bravo!
