even however each and every element contained in the home is sparkling sparkling fruit flies will linger everywhere there exchange into ripe fruit. The soda bottle catch only defined works properly. you additionally can only use a huge kitchen glass or jar filled 1 / 4 full of any sort of fruit juice, or perhaps vinegar, with a funnel formed by employing rolling up a chew of paper inserted into the impressive. do no longer enable the top of the paper touch the juice. The little pests won't have the means to get out and could drown.

Since you have so many, you may need more than one bowl. Place a bowl with 1/2" of cider vinegar and a couple drops of unscented dishsoap on the counter. After a few hours you will see many drowned gnats.

I have had this problem in the past...it came from some fruit and I think another time was from potatoes...

What "I" did to get rid of them is use the little sticky twisty things that you can put up around where they are. They are not poisonous and will stay out of the pets reach and no vapors released either! They are called Pic "Fly Ribbon"

1)The very top layer of soil on houseplants is a favorite for gnats to breed and lay eggs which suck on tender roots when they mature. Spread sterile playsand (about 1/4") on top of the soil, and bottom water. 2)Check house/kitchen for fruit, potatos, etc that may be rotting...place inside grocery bag gently and throw it out. 3) Yellow sticky traps are supposed to work, but I haven't had any luck with them. 4)Check search engines for "fruit fly infestation"

Find the old fruit, vegetables, dirty clothes or what ever is drawing and feeding these gnats. Clean or dispose of it. Then get a few bug bombs and follow the instructions. They will be gone.

if there are alot of gnats, that means something feeding them, you have trash or left over fruit hidden somewhere?

If they look like heart shaped flies, your drains maybe infested.
