He's my favorite artist......so sad, traagically short life like his father....who was also an amazing artist (though Tim Buckley was more folk to Jeff's Van Morrison/Led Zeppelin sound). If you really get into him....I definitely recommend picking up Live at L'Olympia, awesome album.

Ten years ago today, he died........so sad. I'm going to a tribute concert for him in Boston on Thursday.

Yes--the man could sing anything. Truly one of the most amazing voices in rock/blues that ever existed. Isn't this the anniversary of his death? I sort of live near Memphis so we hear about it. Kind of eerie the way he died and how he foretold it in a song. His voice is haunting.

He hasn't been gone THAT long, has he?

Me! I loved Grace- Lilac Wine and Hallelujah are my favorite tracks. I still have Last Goodbye and Hallelujah on my i-pod. I cried when he died. His voice was unlike anything I had ever heard before. And probably ever will again.
