I'm thinking about getting a PRS custom 22 but i like to dive bomb and mess with the whammy bar, i have an ibanez 320Q with an edge pro and need a cleaner sound but dont want to give up the double locking trem. so i need to know if the PRS trem can still do that for me.

Well, I think its about time you get a guitar like Prince, Sting, Slash, Eddie Van Halen and Jon Bon Jovi have! =<)

Why don't you just change the pickups on your guitar for a cleaner sound and I dont think prs has a guitar with a floating bridge. You should checkout there website to see if they do. Also you can change amps to get a cleaner sound but you will have to do a lot of amp testing. But if you love the guitar you are using stick with it and change the pickups!

Not really. It's not made for the dive bombing, it's more of a vintage-style tremolo. They do generally tend to come back in tune pretty well but they're definitely not meant for mega-metal divebombing.
