The thing that works is to use diazinon,you spray it all over the yard and it will kill their food supply ,worms,grubs etc.The stuff is poisonous though and shouldn't be used if you have children and pets using the lawn.I don't know of any other cure for gophers.

il e mail ya my moms recipe for yorkshire puddin,,thatl gettem,,,how bout some neighborhood cats,the ones with the lowset ears,,,,,,,,,givem a can of catfood half on the ground and half down the gopher hatch

they will catch it and take it back somewhere.
