I miscarried at 5 weeks... the dr. said we could try again asap... because I was soo early... How soon have you heard of people getting pregnant after and carrying the baby full term...

Most of my friends who have miscarried have been told to wait one cycle.

I'm so sorry about your loss, my heart goes out to you. I had a miscarriage myself, was 10 weeks along but only measured 5, with a blighted ovum.
Most doctors say to wait at least 3 months, to give you a chance to heal physically as well as emotionally.
That being said... we waited the full 3 months, only b/c my husband is a stickler for listening to doctors (lol). I had my miscarriage in 2/98, we started trying again 4/98, and I was pg again by 8/98... and that baby is now 8 years old with a little sister who is turning 5 on June 13th. :)
Everyone is different, some women get pregnant right away, for others it may take a while longer. I wish you all the best!

well i'm due nov. 8th which makes me almost 17 wks along... i miscarried a month before i got pregnant with this one. i was only 5 wks before. The baby now is doing great and has a strong heartbeat. You don't really have to wait!

It's up to you.
Some women can and do get pregnant right after miscarrying. Others prefer to wait awhile. Basically it depends on how you are dealing emotionally and physically with the miscarriage.

Two of my girl firiends got pregnant 2 weeks after their miscarriage. You are very fertile after you have a miscarriage so if you are anxious to get pregnant go for it right away. They both have succsessful pregnancies after their miscarraige.

An ER doctor just told me Sunday evening to wait 3-4 months to make sure your body has healed properly and your cycle has returned to normal.

I did after 1 full cylce! Baby dust to you! I too lost BUT for the 2nd time at 5 weeks! Now, maybe I WILL MAKE IT! bEST WISHES TO YOU TOO!
