The lower bigger outer leaves are dying but when you look inside the center of the plant, new leaves are growing. Why are the bigger strong ones dying?

I give them plant food, water per the instructions, get good light for inside.

That may be the course of growth on the flower. Alot of plants shed the bigger outer leaves to help sustain the growth of the plant. I wouldn't worry and keep the dead leaves trimmed off.

Since they're freshly potted, it could be that it lost some roots in the repotting process, and it can't take up as much water as it did before. The big leaves, needing more water, would be lost first.

Just in case that's not it, take a VERY close look at the leaves dying off - look for aphids, spider mites (wooly looking), scale insects, etc.

If the tips of the dying leaves die off first, it could be that you are overwatering or underwatering.

All I can think of is that it's part of its cycle. The bigger ones are the older ones, hence, the ones that die first. The small ones will eventually turn into the big ones, and so on...
Keep the nutrition as you have, and just trim nicely and carefully the ones that turn brown. Good luck!

It could be pruning itself or you may have inadvertently over watered it. Its also possible the plant is shocked from being potted. This happens some times when I re-plot my plants as they grow bigger. good luck

The oldest leaves always die off. Just cut them off to send the energy to the newest leaves.
