im using a elementalist/necromancer and we will be fighting together very often so what should he be......im not stupid so dont try to give me crap answers.

What game did your cuz buy? Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall? Prophecies has 6 core professions. Factions and Nightfall have those 6 plus 2 more.
I'd recommend that your cousin read thru the profession descriptions provided in the game manual then pick 1 or 2 that appeals to him the best. He'll have at least 4 character slots, so try out a variety of professions. He'll eventually discover his favorite.
As far as playing together is concerned, don't worry about that so much. You can play together with any mix of professions and just use other players or henchies to fill in the gaps.

guild wars is really a huge game, you must pay much time on it, and at the sametime you
should pay for it.
