Serious answer.
The traditional fall of the Roman empire (memory here) happened in 476 AD and was largely attributed to Germanic invasions.
The truth is moral decay and lack of leadership had destroyed the fiber and core of Roman culture and left it weak and decaying for centuries.

Several things: A) The split of the empire. When the Roman empire separated into the Roman and the Bizantine empires (due to religion), that was the beginning of the end. B) The army was spread out too thinly (from England and Scotland to India and Egypt and everywhere in between), so there was too much territory to cover effectively. C)Politics. When the system went from one emperor to the Senate running the empire, that hurt the empire.

The Holy Roman Emporer left to invede italy and when he left, the empire became corrupt and was ran by lords

Time alone outdates methods.
Their empire was eventually old and going extinct regarding it's might and power.
It's not the first time and won't be the last.

Immigration. Look it up.... The absorbed too many people that didn't share their values and beliefs, and the system fell apart.
That sounds JUST like California today.. and tomorrow THE WORLD!

It tried to occupy too large a territory for the soldiers to defend.
