Have a roomate and live in a nice neighborhood or live in a bad neighborhood and live alone.
I had some bad roomate expeirnces in college both in and out the dorm. I am married now but if i ever had to live on my own i would rather live in the most run down neighborhood than live with someone. What do you think?

I think I would rather live w/someone in a good neighborhood....Alone in a bad neighborhood could be dangerous.....

I would take the roommate in a nice neighborhood, especially for a female.
You're simply taking the lessor of 2 evils.

I'd never live with a "girlfriend" unless I wanna consider her my wife!-I lived with one & all we did was fight! -anyways I'm happy with 1 or more roomates I trust in a good neighborhood (I hate burglars!).

I would do the later. I hate having roommates. Just because a neighborhood is "run down" doesn't mean it's not safe. You just need to be aware of your surroundings.

Nice neighborhood with a roommate, carefully chosen of course. I hated living by myself, very lonely and spent too much money entertaining myself.... (going out and things like that).
