Well I had two. They get about as big as a dinner plate. Like the kind that you would get at a resteraunt like... Applebee's. I had to let me Slider go because she was too big.

This is a good link to RES care. They can get as big as a dinner plate and will need a huge aquarium (10 gallons per 1 inch of shell length) special UVB lighting, heat source for basking, and water heaters and powerful water filters.

They max out around 14 inches, you really don't have a choice they are living creatures not sodas at Mcdonalds.

8-10 inches some get bigger
