Oral sex veto?

Question

My wife and I have been married many years. We enjoyed mutual oral sex from almost the first time we slept together. Recently, however, my wife has decided she doesn't want to give me any more oral sex, and she doesn't want me to give it to her either. When I asked why, she said it disgusted her to go near my genitals with her mouth, and she considered it a violation for me to do the same to her.

I'm still in shock. What's even more shocking, I'm starting to fantasise about looking elsewhere for oral pleasure. I love everything about my wife, except this, but I can't forget about it, as she clearly wants me to!

Can anyone suggest a way out of this impasse?

Why do people think that sex is what's most important in a marriage?

Personally I don't feel that way, I think there are more important things to marriage than sex, but just curious as to what you all think.

I don't know what to tell you. I know that for me personally I think that oral sex is the most intimate form of sex. I never really enjoyed oral sex with anyone except my husband. Before I was married to my husband I knew when a relationship was coming to an end because I just couldn't do it no matter what. For your sake I really hope that this is not what is happening to your wife. Sit down and really talk to her. In my experience not wanting to give oral sex was always a sign that there was a problem with the relationship. Try to find out if something is bothering her, maybe she isn't telling you something and if you approach her not about the oral sex but about all aspects of your relationship you will be able to work through the problem and get back what you really need. Veto something that is important to her. This is a very odd question. Has something changed with her recently? I would find this behavior totally perplexing since you've been engaging in oral activities all along. I'm thinkin she's headed for therapy lane. Choose wisely on what you should "veto" in protest of this new found rule of hers. I'm in shock too so you're not alone..
Don't cheat. Just figure out whats up with her and fix it. Good luck

I definetly would talk to her and tell her how you feel and you are fanatasizing going somewhere else.
That is bizarre that she no longer wants to do this after you have for so many years.
Maybe she is cheating and is disgusted by you now. I hope not but it sounds weird to me.
Your married and should be able to be comfortable enough to do these things or talk about it.
You need to find out why she is disgusted all of a sudden. Insist she help explain she owes it to you. I hope you can work it out and compromise.
Just be honest and tell her it hurts and bothers you why she won't now.

Interesting I'm a girl and honestly i liked it in the beginning "by the way also with my hubby only him lol" well anyways now i dont dont knw y i just get disgusted yea i like it to b done on me but sometimes dont want it cuz i feel like i have to do it in return but I mean ask her exactly why. I would say there is a little more to this situation than you mentioned. As a guess, I would say that your wife probably has gained some weight and you have been helpful in pointing it out. There is nothing that turns off a woman quicker than a man that mentions about her weight. All of a sudden, she just has no desire to be intimate with him. If this is the case, then you have to fix the situation and I don't mean by getting her a gym membership or being the "hall monitor" when it comes to what she is eating and how much. Tell her she is beautiful and desirable. If she doesn't believe that she is, then this will continue. Think about it. I would bet that I'm right on this and you need to begin repairing the damage.

I can't understand why after all of the times she gave you oral sex she decides that she doesn't like it anymore. Maybe you should tell her how you feel and maybe figure out a way that you wont feel uncomfortable to go down there? .. Maybe she is having some other issues. Menopause, maybe, can change how a woman sees herself and her sex drive is affected. Or maybe she always did it because it pleased you and now she is looking out for herself. If you look outside the marriage, you could be ending it.
