is fordam university a good place to study in?

Well, I 've friends said that it's easy to be killed if u studied in Fordham, so is that true? Besides, is it good at business? Appreciate for ur answers

What nonsense!

Fordham has a very pretty and secure campus at RoseHill. The neighborhood surrounding it is an urban neighborhood, but it is not a ghetto or slum. And the other campus at Lincoln Center is right in the heart of Manhattan.

Maybe your friends think you should go to some school that is in a peaceful rural area -- like Virginia Tech??

You could get killed anywhere, but there is no more danger for a Fordham student - much less danger, actually -- than for anyone else in the city of New York.

There are 4000 college campuses in the USA. Fordham was ranked well within the top 100 list in this years US News rankings. Since it is in New York there are many, many opportunities for internships and apprenticeships in New York businesses....

Fordham University is in one of the toughest areas in the Bronx. There is a great socio-economical divide between the University and the surrounding area. What I mean is, the school and most of its student body are rich and well off. Where as the fordham area of the Bronx is mostly low income housing and poorer residents. There are plenty of other good business schools in NYC, I would look their first.

it is a good college but the rose hill campus is in a somewhat sketchy area. however, the security is excellent - the entire campus is surrounded by a guarded wall and you can't get into the place without a student ID or without being accompanied by a student. my sister went there and had a wonderful experience. you just have to be careful about walking alone at night off campus
