There are places for young women to go. The Departments of Family and Children services in most states/cities will have places for her to go.

Also some churches have places for young moms to be. Around the Chicago area we have an organization called PADS which helps the homeless find places to live.

Check with a similar agency in your city/town.

There are churches and organizations in your area who can help. Check out your local churches with food or clothing assistance - many times they have other resources to help you.

Sometimes the churches have a group to help young mothers keep their children (to try to stop all the abortions), but they are there to help.

Check with your OB/GYN Clinics to see if they have connections to resources, as well as your local WIC office. Planned Parenthood may have an office near you - I'm sure they have counselors you can talk to.

Depending upon where you live, I'm sure there are lots of other resources for your situation - maybe even starting with a shelter, because that could be a stepping stone to find out more help for you.

Look in the phone book under:

WOMENS SHELTER
These are usually privately funded & can help you out, but usually specialize in abusive relationships.

WOMEN IN CRISIS (also known as WIC)
These are government funded and help out single/Young mothers with no where else to go. They can help you learn to take care of your baby, and help with financial aid to some extent too. They may be in the BLUE pages.

hmm..maybe you shouldn't be having sex if you can't afford the consequenses. Why not adoption? That is selfish. Why would you want your child to suffer? You need your tubes tied so we, the taxpayers, won't have to pay for you and your future children. Oh, and GET A JOB!!!!
