At the end of the Titanic movie, (the recent one) where old rose is asleep and it shows her younger self back on the titanic, where everybodys their, and she's united with Jack...Did Rose die? or is she just having a dream about it?

I've only ever seen the whole movie once. That was in the theatre and we had to leave before the credits started because we laughed at an inappropriate time and thought we should get out while the getting was good. Why the heck would she want to go to a sunken ship to spend all eternity? I like vanilla.

She dies. That's why she's reunited with Jack, everything dead comes back to life: the ship, Jack, the attendants and since she's in the dream she's dead as well.

It is up to your perception...I take it that she died because Jack told her she would die an old woman in her bed...Also, everyone on the ship were the passengers that had died when the ship sank.

She died in her sleep. Since all the people that died on that trip, including Jack were there, it makes sense that she's dead. She's being escorted into the "afterlife".

It's meant to be ambiguous. Decide for yourself.
Personally I've always felt she was just dreaming. She threw the diamond in the ocean and now she was at peace. And we could see in her dreams that she had never forgotten.

She died, like jack predicted,, and she went to find him in the place were they fell in love!!! love that movie!!
