I would have no problem doing that. To each his own, but people spend unholy amounts of money for a one day event which does not measure the amount of love between you. It should be about the two of you and starting your life together.

Yes. My Aunt married in a huge church wedding and was divorced three years later. My parents eloped to Vegas and they're approaching their 40th wedding anniversary. Eloping is a great idea. But to sooth wounded feelings of family, consider having a big reception later.

I have thought about it before because i was so excited i just wanted to hurry up and get it over with so i could be with him but now that i have sat down and put together the wedding of my dreams i know that its going to be amazing and it will mean the world to me and be one of the most wonderful things for my kids and grandkids to look back on!

Im starting to seriously consider it. I am getting married again next year and so far I havent found anywhere to get married that doesnt require a lottery win.
