It is windy there, particularly in Costa Teguise, it's where they have windsurfing championships on a regular basis, other parts of the island are not so windy! But it's never freezing at night, even in the colder months...but in June you will be fine, you will be happy for the breeze...at night you may need a light jacket or cardigan!

I have just returned from lanzarote stayed in a private villa about 10 minutes from Costa teguise and the week we had it was boiling . (come back really brown) Your partner is right it is windy and you definitely need a cardigan or light jacket for the nigh time . It's not freezing as such but chilly on an evening . However the days are so hot it's nice to have had a slight breeze.

We absolutely loved Lanzarote and would definitely go back again . Email me if you want any other information.

Yes it is windy quite strong but the wind is warm so though you feel blown about (a lot) it is not cold. I stayed in Teguise about 18 years ago. Be very careful of the sun because the wind deceives how hot it actually is!

It will be hot, it wont be freezing at all at night, you may need a jacket to be cosy at night after being in the sun all day, sometimes you do get the windy storms, but it not a cyclone, just windy warm breeze, but if your lying on the beach, you end up looking like a sand sculpture. ! Teguise is nice, on the quiter side, you can easily get bus into purto del carmen, but i wouldnt say it was better, just different, its all on a strip (one road)

We are going on Thursday. We have been to the Island many times and always found the weather wonderful.

I usually take a large lightweight scarf with me. It covers me from the sun in the day and covers me from the wind in the evening. Have a wonderful time. We are staying in the village of Nazaret near Teguise. We have stayed there before and love it.

it wont be cold let me assure u. fuerteventura is more windy. lanzarote in june is fine (from personal experience). in fact, when we have been in june, it is hot, and the wind is more than welcome. also, freezing at night? we could not sleep because of the heat!! we had no air conditioning :o( it does cool down in the evenings, jeans and a t-shirt perhaps for later on, but it is not freezing. we had no jackets or long sleeved stuff with us.

You have a week to go before dilatation an issue Effacement is the shortening, or thinning, of the cervix before or during early labour. Prior to effacement, the cervix is like a long bottleneck, usually about four centimeters in length. Throughout pregnancy, the cervix is tightly closed and protected by a plug of mucus. When the cervix effaces, the mucus plug is loosened and passes out of the vagina. The mucus may be tinged with blood and the passage of the mucus plug is called bloody show (or simply "show").
