What should I get for my teacher at the end of the year?

I'm going into 9th grade, so this is the last time I'll see her.

I have a really close connection with her, I've had a lot of problems this year and she's been there for me.

I don't know what to do, and I know I want to get her something.

=/ Any suggestions? Nothing cheesy, like, "Great teacher" things.

Something... I don't know. =/ That's why I asked. o.o

Thanks a lot in advance.

One, she's like me, like... individual. I hate using lables. >_<

But, yeah, she's different.

And she's getting engaged soon.

So... yeah. o.o;

Definitely give her a nice note. She would love to hear your words of thanks and how much it meant for her to be there for you.

If you want to do more than a note though, think of a gift card. I know the teachers around my area love gift cards to target or walmart. Many times they spend their own money buying school supplies because of low funding...but when they receive a gift card to one of these places they are able to buy more supplies and not deplete their family income.
Or, maybe a gift card for Pier 1 or another home store that she could possibly buy something for her new home/apartment if she is getting married.
There are so many gift cards available and you know your teacher best, but I am sure there is something out there for her.

In the end, I am sure she will be happy with whatever you give her! Even if it is just a simple note :)

My kids will be giving their teachers potted plants. They will paint the pots, the fill them with soil and some flowers. It has the combination of being personal, but not real cheesy.

What about a local coffee place gift certificate. It is great for teachers I bet.

A handwritten note expressing what she has meant to you along with a gift certificate to a deli or coffee shop. It will probably bring her to tears!

Look real hard and sincerely for a card. Let the words speak for you. You can always add your personal thoughts. Teachers love to see that they were appreciated. Words mean a lot!!!!

Or a coupon for car wash, hair/nail salon. . .

Or a coupon for a restaurant for two (her husband or BF)
