Yes!

I am curious why you want to ask the question.

From someone who has always been in the persuit of happiness I can now say that it is a frame of mind that you have to attain.

Happiness is there for the taking. The secret I have recently found is within ourselves and that is not too expect too much from life but to give life your all and happiness is there within you reach.

I think that if you do unto others that which you would have them do unto you what more can you ask for.

Work hard, play hard and do wrong to none.

Absolutely!

My life was in ruins about 14 years ago...I've been working a process; keeping my faith....searching the Bible and using it's tools...

My life is no longer in shambles, and has actually become productive, happy, safe, and I'm thankful! I am blessed...so I say without hestitation, without reservation, and without doubt; that life CAN be truly happy...

There is joy to be had in this life....Even after divorce, sickness, mental illness, depression, despair, deprivation and abandonment!

it would depend on what it is that makes you happy,.some people can sit ,for instance, playing with a string,or themselves,or whatever, for hours, mabye days, even eternity, but then there some people, would go completely mad having to put up with themselves ,for even a hour.some people are content just knowing their alive, and are truly happy with that, then others that have millions, are truly happy, untill the money is gone,so i guess the reasons to be happy,or stay truly happy, depends on each person, individually

Yes. If you understand what happiness is and what it means to you. In our hard pressed society happiness is trust upon us and were expected to measure our happiness in material terms, but each to their own. If you understand what you truly need and desire, even if you do not accomplish it, this will lead to happiness. Happiness is a state of knowing and understanding what and who you are and not what you can achieve, gain or earn. Happiness is a state of equilbrium that one can achieve but understanding ones self and knowing what we need and appreicate what it is that we have.

Learn to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

Take time to relax. Go for a walk in the countryside, savour the sights and smell, the noises and fresh air.

Life is too fast, busy and complex. Every so often, you need to escape modern life, and get back to basics.

I reckon you can but you probably don't know it. Only when something goes wrong you realise how happy you were before.
Plus people make it hard for themselves, always wanting something better, something more exciting.
But if you stop and think you'll probably see that you are in fact happy most of the time, only not appreciate it!

It's probably not possible to be happy for every hour of every day - because sometimes sh*t happens!

Sometimes it's hard, but there's usually enough good stuff in there to balance out the bad.

You have to work at it too.

Yes.

"Being happy is something you have to learn. I often surprise myself by saying 'Wow, this is it. I guess I'm happy. I got a home I love. A career that I love. I'm even feeling more and more at peace with myself.' If there's something else to happiness, let me know. I'm ambitious for that, too." ~ Harrison Ford

Not in todays society. Leave the tech and stuff behind. Find enlightenment in knowing who, what, where, and how you are .Then true happiness will come upon your soul.

Of course you can. But the paradox is that often you must go through hell in order to be able to distinguish happiness and to appreciate it.
