When is the best time to go on the London eye (in terms of how the view looks)?

The best time for a good view would be around noon, of course that would be the worse time in terms of crowds.

Keep in mind that taking outside pictures from in the pods is problematic. The curved glass doesn't allow a great picture.

You need to wait for a clear day with no Fog, Smog, or Mist.
You might wait a long time.
"On a Clear Day you can see For Ever".
