I think the name Pamela is a good name and your family will like it too, especially since it was your grandmother's name. Good choice.

i think it is a good idea. if u want to name ur daughter after ur grandma then go for it. I already have picked out names and they are after my bf' family members and mine.

Yes it's nice and you don't hear it that often nowdays, except on "The Office," but Pam is a very nice girl on the show so it's ok.
