The size of the sun is 1,390,000 kilometers, that is equal to 863,705.96 miles. The sun's current age is thought to be 4.57 billion years old. This data was estimated by using computer models of stellar evolution and nucleocosmochronology. Something like that!!! The websites where I got the information are

http://www.nineplanets.org/sol.html

I hope this helps!!!

The present observed and calculated size of the Sun is roughly 1.4 million kilometer life. As per the present frame of reference its aging Depends on how the Sun's mass is lost It follows an exponetial decay.. Relative to our time on earth its not going to die before we do. It would take several millions of year to decay 1%.
