Yep. We thought it was only one for the longest time. but once we got out the traps, we ended up catching like 5 of them! We haven't had that problem in years, though, since we've had a cat in the house.

Yesssss! My babygirl got two of them. I promptly swept the half-dead mice outside.
The last one that got in I couldn't find, but it got wedged between my computer desk and table. I kept smelling this foul smell but could not figure out where it was coming from. This was about 3 days. Then I kept sniffing until I found a dead mouse ewwwwwww! It gave my babygirl some pretty bad fleas. I had to get her a bath and haircut.
She's a good mouser. And not bad with flies either.

Ooh, do I have a story for you! Well, I was younger at the time, and I was taking care of my grandma's dog. He was chewing on a bone, when he froze. He looked up and stared, just stared at the couch. He started snuffling under it and suddenly, out bursts what I think was a pregnant mouse. It pelted over to the radiator where i think it was hiding its nest. A few weeks later, what used to be my humble aboad, was a living mouse house. Eventually, we got rid of them all, but it was hell living with them.

Get mouse traps and bait them with peanut butter. You may need to hire an exterminator. Plug all small holes around the house with steel wool.

We used to have mice in our basement at our old house. When I was little one got upstairs and was running around the living room. My Mom squished it with a telephone book. I was traumatized by that experience. I am terrified of mice!!

Yep, when the cat died, the mice came in for the winter. Snap traps were the only thing that worked (sorry to all you animal lovers out there); we tried the humane ones, and we could practically hear them laughing at us.

Yes, but not where I'm living now.
It was in a place where I lived a few years ago, but I got rid of the little rodents & they never came back.

Yes.
a) My brother lent me his trap, and I baited it with some peanut butter. It worked the very next day.
b) Our cats have occasionally caught them. The traps are a lot more reliable.
