Certainly not for the sake of my engine -- that's not likely to cool down until it's spent a good long while parked in the garage! If the garage itself isn't ready, then I'd wait, of course...but once the door's open and the green light on...VRRRROOOOMMMM!!!

Yeah. Sometimes I'll take a couple laps around the block just to give the autopilot a chance to take over and give me a minute to relax before getting out.
