that irritate you most in football (soccer)?
mine is teams who constantly play uber defensively and also fans thinking they are tactical geniuses, second guessing managers tactics with the benefit of hindsight.

Seeing great players, capable of many things that have demonstrated it before, not showing their potential! It's so freakin' irritating cuz you know they can play WAY better and they also know they can play WAY better but they just slack off! That so annoys me!

Well I dont rant... Im on legs remember?
1. I dont like the diving/shirt pulling/faking injuries.
2. I dont like the internal political problems (racism, fan violence, match fixing.. this happens in practically every football loving country)
3. And definetly the super uber defensive tactics used in football
REMEMBER BRANKO against Mexico!!! Iran doesnt know how to spell defense.. never mind play it.. we had such a great first half playing offensively and we suddenly start playing defensive.
And yes.. Chel$ki's defensive tactics used to win many of their matches 1-0.. make the game boring but you have to play to your teams strengths..
Italy plays defensively and they did pretty well in the World Cup and usually do.. If Italy tries to play like Brazil just to win over fans, then they would be doin themselves a disservice..
Id rather a team beat a team rather than a team not lose

1)For me it's when a mid-table or bottom table club beats my club. They play crap against other teams close to their place in the table but when it comes to one of the big 4, they come out blazing and play with passion and some of their best football! I just begin to wonder why they won't playing like that before and if they play like that against other teams like them, they'd be in a better position!
2)When a ref constantly interrupts the game for every minor tackle!
3)lack of goal-line technology!
4)bad goal-keeping, I hate to see a goal go in that could have been easily saved by a goal-keeper!

Referees who are anti-Man United or anti-England,referees who favour Chelsea too much,teams other than Man U and England who play too defensively,divers like Didier drogba and complain kings like Jose Mourinho

I would agree. I hate to see teams pack it in. I also don't like to see teams just boom balling it. The beauty of the game is seeing the movement of the ball. The team moving the ball up and acting as one unit.

What irritates me when the teams are in draw,and they give them extra 30 minutes and then PENALTI!!
I hate penalties,i like to see them play their butts off and keep trying to score a goal!

same iv played against a team that just defends and its bloody annoying.and there are some itv1 commentators that are up Wayne Rooney and Gerrard's butt when Liverpool or man utd play in champs league.Rooney this Garrard that.

Faith, if you had any real sense you'd know Cristiano doesn't dive anymore. But then again, you stubborn fans keep things in your heads forever.
The things that irritate me the most are:
a) ignorant fans who don't actually watch a lot, only their team and claim they know everything (aka faith)
b) fangirls who love players only due to their looks
c) players who are constantly defensive (like you said) and aren't willing to take RISKS
d) jose mourinho
e) people who don't even care which club they support, either way they are anti-united
f) divers. yes, im a c ronaldo fan and saying this. ive only recently (within the past year) begun to REALLY respect the lad because of his persistence not to dive and to actually overcome the opposition's attempts to make him dive or to hurt him.

I agree. Watching boring teams like Chelsea that don't play great football(soccer) and annoying players like Materazzi. I hate him!!!
