Hi Everybody~
I'm in a real spot here. My computer is brand new & worked just great until now. I don't know what I clicked on that I shouldn't have but sunddenly I have NO sound. I have gone to everyplace I can think of that deals with this trouble, but so far nothing works.
If anyone can help me I sure would appreciate it.
Thank You. Lynnda

Well, it depends on what kind of computer it is. On a Mac, your F4 and F5 keys often control volume. Try doing a search of your hard drive for something like "volume control." Or look for a "help" section. If you just got it, you should have a manual that came with the computer. There must be some information in there on basic settings. Worst case scenario, call the store where you bought it and talk to their tech person. They'll know in an instant.

That's one thing you can try. Uninstall your sound card and turn on your PC for a few minutes then turn it off, then put your sound card back in. Your computer might think you are installing new hardware and you might have to go onlign to find the software for the sound-card again.

maybe uninstall your audio driver in your device manager then restart the computer and see if it installs the driver again.
