Well gee, lets see...hhhmmmmm.......
OK...... You have GOT to be kidding because most species of sea turtles are on teh endangered species list!!!!!
AND.... they are not called "SEA" turtles for nothing and I don't really think you own an ocean to keep it in, do you?.

Well, I am sorry but first of all you can't get them in N.J because there endangered and it's illegal. Unless you have special permits you can't get it. Also by the time it grows to be an adult it'll need an ocean to swim in and the expense to feed it everyday would be a fortune. It can eat a lot of fish a day.I hope I helped. You can get a red eared slider,box,or painter in near states, such as Vermont a maybe a couple others. Good luck. :)

Well for one sea turtles are illegal to own anywhwere and it is illegal to sell any turtles in NJ.

you cant it is ilegal, sea turtles are indangered.

but you can probably buy a fresh water turtle at a local exotic pet shop.

I wouldn't. They grow too large. Unless you own a large saltwater aquarium about the size of a small lake, I wouldn't recommend getting one.

You can not. They are a protected species, and they are illegal to own unless you have the proper permits.

Hopefully nowhere they need 1000's of miles of ocean they are constantly migrating that's their life don't screw that up.
