Money talks and everything else matters not. Honor, integrity, kindness, love, or any other good human qualities are all dying completely ....they no longer mean anything.

Before money there were cows swapped for women and spears.

I'm going back to the old fashioned values of yonder year. I value cows above all else!

Because trust is lacking. Double speak and ulterior motives are so prevalent that no one believes it when someone does something honest for a change. People have become very suspicious in these times and cannot accept anything at face value. I personally try to counteract this by being as honest as possible and doing things from the motives that you listed. I also try to assume that everyone else is acting from the same motives (though at times this is very difficult!)

and I thought I was cynical! there are lots of people with excellent human qualities. some of them also have money. did something specific happen to trigger these feelings?

I agree that the concept is simple but I don't agree that it is the truth.
So, I guess I proved your point.

you are right. if you dont have that credit score and that money you have nothing and therefore you have nobody. So all those traits are forming into one.....Greed.
