A wendigo is a possession so have either an Algonquinn shaman , or exorcist of your choice banish the spirit.
Im guessing a gun would work too.

There is no books written about anyone being attacked in their homes by an Wendigo.. All attackks by them happen in their home areas outside of a person home........... Also they are suppose to protect the weak and punish the bad guy so to speak....................... That is according to the Indian version of a Wendigo.....................................................................
