You can always pick up a baby names book. It will list not only the thousands of possible names but its meaning as well. It's pretty cool! There are several out there, so when you have time just go to WaldenBooks or even the library. They are sure to have it there.

When it comes to naming a baby some people look at each side of the family tree to see if there are any names you might be interested in. It is often an honor to use a name for a first or middle name.

Also when naming a baby you need to make sure that the initals don't spell out something strange like A S S
Also when you choose a first. middle name and last name, make sure that the even if all the names go together well, check out how the first and last names go together. For instance. Don James Keys sounds good. Well take out the middle name, which is what we all go by in life you have the name Don Keys. Och that kid is going to be caled a donkey.

Also, if you choose a real trendy name you might end up with your kid's class room or birthday party full of those names.
For instance, once I gave my son a birthday party and seven out of the eight boys there had his name.

You can also choose a name that means something dear to your heart. Like Hope or Summer or Dawn or something from a trip like Londyn aka london. or Dakota
If you are from a country and there is a name use that if you love it. For instance my sister has a daughter Svea, (sa ah)
It means Swed. Or Flicka means little girl.
Paris, Brighton, York, Delta, Rose, Montona, Catallina,

Your babys name can have meaning to it or it can just be names you like . It is all up to you.

Lily and Adam are great names

I prefer names that have actual meaning and are spelled correctly. I also try and stay away from anything too trendy, because I would hate for my child to have a name that one day will 'go out of style'. So I prefer classic, underused names. Lily is nice, a little popular right now but not too trendy. Adam is great, I love that name.

I recommend Behind the Name for meanings and orgins of names. Lots of other baby name sites make up meanings (Nevaeh, for instance, doesn't have a meaning, but many site will try and state that it means butterfly or some other cutesy thing). The only other advice I can give is to remember that the baby will not always be 3 years old. Make sure you give them a name that will work when they are 3, 13, 30, 75, etc.

Good luck and have fun!

I think Lily and Adam are great names - Lily is feminine yet strong and Adam is a classic. For middle names you could look at you family: parents, grandparents, siblings, even your middle name or the baby's father if he's in the picture. Or you could balance between traditional first names and a more trendy or unusual middle name like: Lily Shay or Adam Rhys. I have four children and we chose traditional names because my husband and I have more unique names and spent our childhoods pronouncing and/or spelling them for people. Matthew, Emily, Ryan and Jessica. They have middle names honoring different people in our lives that are close to us. Our oldest son has his dad's first name as his middle name.

Lily and Adam are cute, but very popular. You could use a few varities of Lily like Lillana or Lilah.
Try searching on babynames.com. You can search for names with a certain meaning.
Look at names of family members/ancestors for ideas, they make for great middle names. Good luck!

Adam or Lily are both good names. I hope that you can handle being a parent at 16 if picking out names is your biggest concern.

Both are great names!

Adam used to be a favorite of mine. It's a strong good name that you don't hear much anymore.

Lily is sweet, but I slightly prefer it is the middle name spot. Lily is very popular, but if popularity is no problem for you, go with it! Other ideas are: Lila, Lillian, Layla, Lilia, Lilias, etc.
