No, Flash memory mediums are electrical, FYI disk drives either hard or floppy are magnetical, CD/DVD are optical.

A flash drive consists of a small printed circuit board typically encased in a plastic or metal casing, making the drive sturdy enough to be carried about in a pocket, as a key fob, or on a lanyard.

They are a solid state memory, not optical (optical means light, therefore laser (CD/DVD))

Flash memory stores bytes like regular RAM, it just doesn't spin to access data like a CD/DVD drive which is optical. Would have to say no but not entirely sure.
