Wow...I started when I was nine! But I know how you feel. I remember freaking out. I thought it meant I could not be a kid anymore. But once I got it, I realised nothing changed. Sure, hair started growing, deodorant become a part of getting dressed, and i had to carry a purse once a week at school, but I was still the same girl and you will be, too. It's just a new step into becoming a woman. Be excited. But you will still be that same. Remind yourself that just because your body is changing, you as a person are not. Once you start your period, the emotions will settle out. Just try not to worry. You will be fine. Just think, in a year, you will look back on this and wonder why you were worried. Just take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy growing up.

Calm down. Everyone goes through this. You will most likely start your period soon, and everything is normal. Besides, it is highly unlikely you'd be getting cancer at age 11. There is nothing to be worried about.

Here are some tips on calming yourself down.

Here's How:
Breathe in through your nose on a slow count of three.
Push your stomach out as you breathe in.
Breathe out through your mouth on a slow count of six.
Repeat two more times.

Tips:
If you feel light-headed breathe more slowly.
Practice three times a day and you will remember the steps when you are stressed out.

Listen to your mom, sweetie. She's been through everything you're going through and knows all about it. She's right about the bumps. And there's nothing at all to be scared of. You're just starting to go into puberty. Every woman in the whole wide world has been through it and come out just fine.

It's okay I got my period at 9. It's all natural.

and the emotional changes are too. You'll mainly find yourself more intune with peoples feelings and a better sense of right and wrong. It's all a part of growing up.

I remember I started puberty at 10 and I was very scared too. It's nothing to be scared about. Every girl in the world goes through it. Listen to relaxing music and make sure that you have females that are close with you to talk to such as your mom or friend or sister, ect.

Oh sweety nothing to be scared of. Every girl goes thu it. It just means that you are becoming a women.

The emotions can be abit difficult but you learn to deal with them. They only really get bad just before and during the first day or two of your period.

Congrats. Be happy - you are now entering womenhood.

Welcome to womanhood! Change can be a bit scary. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Those bumps are normal. You are in control of the way you feel. If you want to be uptight about your changes, then you will and it will make you crazy. But if you want to just mellow out and let what's going to happen happen, then it will be much easier on you.

Yeah you're right you just may be but your period is not that bad!! Really if you get your period it means your more mature than the other girls which gives you the advantage. And everyone gets it some time, so you're not alone.
