Comparison of UK and US cities?

Why is it that us cities have lots of sky scrapers wheras uk cities of the same population have little or none?where do the UK put all their offices?!(such comparisons : New york and London, Dallas and birmingham, Coventry and jersey city?!

Good question, I figured they had tall building and sky scrapers. Maybe they build down deep with in the Earth like mole people. Or maybe none of those A holes have jobs and don't require big buildings to house their offices.
