Drink Milk....But what's the issue??? You won't be able to drink, wash dishes, take a shower, or flush the toilet. You can use the toilet, but there won't be much water to wash the stuff away.

So eat out. Visit a friend. Live like a minimalist for a few hours.

Put a gallon of water in the frig now so you have it during the "dry spell." But seriously, just drink Milk.

Our power, which we need to get water up from the well, seems to go out every time we have a storm, so what I do is to keep a few gallons of drinking water on hand, as well as a 5 gallon container of water to use for washing, etc. If it seems like it's going to be a bad storm, I even fill the bathtub up.
Since you know when it's going to happen, take a shower, wash clothes if you have to, do your dishes, and get a gallon of drinking water ready. :)
But is your water ALREADY OFF? In that case, go out, lol. Eat out for dinner tonight so you don't have dishes, and buy drinking water for when when you get home. % hrs will go by before you know it

If you think you are going to need some water to like flush the toilet you need to save some.
Fill up some buckets and set them in the bathtub.
Fill up any jugs or containers you can find until you get enough for what you need.
Put some in a couple cooking pots, then you can heat it up if you need to.

Watch TV, read a book, go to a pool (if its hot enough), go to the mall, anything that can occupy you without the need for water.

I recommend you turn the power off to the water heater. If the water line is opened, the heater could drain which causes the elements to burn out. If it's gas, turn the knob to off. No need to kill the pilot light. If it's spark ignition, turn it off completly.
