He is a "Godfather", of sorts, of music geniuses. But I can't say the "end all genius" because I've been fortunate enough to grow up in a world where Mike Patton gets to make whatever music he feels like (Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Fanotmas, Tomahawk, Lovage, etc). Also, Maynard James Keenan is fast becoming another artist on that same page (w/ Tool, A Perfect Circle. Puscifer) and, I know it's considered jazz, but John Zorn is phenomenal! I agree that Frank Zappa basically opened the doors for modern rock artists and said "do whatever YOU want, not what THEY want!" and he'll always be praised for that inspiration, but he can't be the end all. Not as long as there are artists bold enough to walk through said door.

I saw that for the first time the other day.I'm not quite sure what to think.lol.It was pretty funny.
