He believed America was the greatest

He pushed equal rights and believed in equality.

He wanted us to win the space race when he found out Russia sent the first man in space. We needed to be the first on the moon.

He showed strength and courage during the missile crisis.

He was young and optimistic.

His assassination pushed everything positive that he stood for to the for front.

Was he the best? Would he have been the best? It's still debated but we do know his life and death had a profound affect on our nation.

*don't forget about the Peace Corps, Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, and etc. all the postive things he did still shape and influence our nation. was he perfect? no. but the postitive things he stood for now affect our nation and that is what is important.
