Hi Lorri,

In most states it can be done depending on the age of the children. If either are infants, yes as the infant will be expected to be in your room. Most times when either of the children are of privacy age (usually 5 or older) they will need their own room. The law will allow you and the girl to share a room, if she has her own bed in that room or if there is a sofa bed on wich she/you can sleep. The main thing is that kids over 5 usually require their own bed in new custodial situations. Once you have custody, if there are additional kids born into the situation, the courts have no say so. Good Luck!

Not enough info. Are they your children? how old are they. If they are your kids, yes you can. If you are adopting, some states require that after a certain age, children of different sexes must have separate rooms. Talk to a lawyer in your area that knows your states rules on this.

First, how old are they? If they are too old, then you would have to give up or share one of the bedrooms.
