love
hers a poem too
"Love hurts in the end"
Love sucks for me and you
Love hurts real badly too
Just don’t go there at all
If you are already there,
Watch out and don’t fall,
Pain you will be unable to bear.
It may feel good to begin,
but it always hurts in the end.

Well, honestly, getting married... I always wanted to meet a handsome, distinguished, tall, smart, caring man.. I have. That is the sweet.. so very sweet, so is he. But when I was dreaming I forgot to add the part where we share the same ideas and interests.. That is the bitter part. I am happy and very much in love. It's just sometimes I feel like he doesn't see into me as deeply as I would like. I have dated musicians and artist the relationships were always full of dreamy ideas and funny scenarios and songs and poetry...... My husband is a scientist, he's very practical and literal. NO dreaming just hard work and the payoff. Which is ideal for a successful family life which I have. So my life is bittersweet I guess.... I have so much & so much is missing. We are so different& yet I am the happiest I've ever been ...my husband is a successful handsome wonderful father that I love very much...and it is very bittersweet.. Sometimes getting what you want and what you need are two totally different things..

Hurricane Katrina.
We were on the roof of our house for over three hours in 125 mph winds. We had my mom-in-law, father-in-law, husband, me, my oldest (5), my son (3), and my youngest (18 months), and two dogs on the roof. We lost everything. We literally had only the clothes on our backs. Well, since then, we have had to move to Maryland (where an aunt lives) to find shelter. We live in the projects now, but we have great neighbors. All our family is back home (MS). I say it's a bitter sweet exp. because it has taught me how much my life and family means to me. I have gotten to see the best of the human spirit (thank you to all who have helped out people like us) and so many new and wonderful experiences. We love Maryland and will probably stay here for years. I realize how lucky we were to even have survived.

I've had plenty of bittersweet experiences but I've learned something from each of them. The list is too long and there's no need to reopen wounds.

Getting a job away from my home town. This is because I got a great paying job and bought a new house, but I'm away from all my close friends and family.
