They have the Y chromosome, it makes them do very strange things. Blame it on nature, they do!

my daughter had the same problem she developed in her young teens by 16 she was a D 18 a DD and finally stopped with a 36 F at the age of 19, she was very concerned i remember her coming to me one day and asked, Dad ! when will i stop growing? this was when she was 17 she seemed almost frightened at the rate she was growing, I tried to keep a Straight face and give her a reasonable answer, I said you should stop when your around 18 or so, of course that wasn't good enough she walked away with tears in her eyes and I felt really bad, well needless to say she ended up with a 36 FF and she has to buy special bras which cost a lot more then a playtex.. I do my best to be dad a doc and a friend. as for me and your question I like a nice C or a small D that I think is sexy with clothe on or off, big boob look nice with clothe on.

Not all men like big boobs. In my past, I've gone out with a few men who feel "more than a mouth full is a waste." However, I do feel the majority of men like big boobs. I guess the answer to your questions is because they are soft looking and full, comforting. I know a lot of men who like a big butt as well, but I better stick to the subject at hand.

I don't I hate them as you can see from previous answers.
I cannot imagine anything more unattractive than big, saggy, swinging horrible boobs.
Given the choice I would have 32-34 b every time anything bigger no thanks. Boobs should be firm and not need a bra, how horrible when they hang down over the stomach blurghhhhhhhhh.
Nice small and neat please. Not trying to upset anyone here just my personal opinion, but it pi**es me off when everyone things big is beautiful.
My last girlfriend had a real complex about her 32B's because everyone used to take the mickey out of her "fried eggs". It took me a long time to persuade her how good they really were and to feel confident enough walk around my place without having to grab a t-shirt etc. And trust me hers were the best that I have ever seen before or since, they were perfect. At least now though she feels confident about them and has stopped thinking about a boob job knowing that there are men out here that like them small as well.

Not all men like big boobs, some men don't constantly think about women. And If thats all men have got to think about then they have a sad life.

Scientifically speaking, larger breasts and round hips subconsciously tell the man that the woman would make a good reproduction partner. So when a guy sees large breasts, part of his mammalian brain sends a little signal to a receptor in his higher brain functions that says "GOOD".
Culturally speaking, in general the media blasts men with images of large breasts, slim waists and curvy hips. We are so inundated with these images that men begin to develop a cultural "taste" for these things - in essence, it defines what we think of as beautiful. Other cultures have other standards.
That said. I remember seeing a survey of men 18-45. While about 35% of men liked large breasts, 40% liked average breasts and the remaining 25% liked smaller breasts.
So not every man is completely captivated by large breasts.

All organisms basic instinct is to mate with the healthiest opposing gender they can find. For example. Robins search for the reddest breasted opposing gender as the redder the breast, the healthier the robbin.
All organisms look for different signs of health, as mentioned, robins look for red breasts, other birds look for feather design/colour, but humans look for a variety of things. Cosmetics such as make up are designed to make women appear healthier and so to attract men, but large breasts are another thing symbolising health of females. They indicate a matured female of prime fertility. Although primitiviely large breasts were a sign of good health, the recognition of large breasts being desirable also attracts males because they like to be proud of their partner and know that other males are jealous. In a way, a large breasted partner is desirable as a way to show off, in the same way that an attractive car may be bought to show off.
Although personality is essential for a good relationship, appearance (and health) is the foundation of the basic attraction instincts.

not all men like big boobs. out of all the men i know who like big boobs are jack the lads who like girls for one thing and one thing only and do not care about what is on the inside it is all about the looks. i am not naturally big busted - i am not flat as a pancake especially not know as i am pregnant and they have gone very big!! my boyfriend is not a boob person. he likes mine but preferrs my bum and stomache (pre pregnancy!!) mine have grown quite large and he is really hoping they go back to normal after so i know he def does not like big boobs. woman should not get worked up over why men like big boobs as men have a bigger thing to worry about regarding their manhoods - now that is important!!

They are beautiful - what do you mean you don't get it?
Do you like "short" men? Do you like muscles on a man or a scrawny bookworm?
People tend to like obvious "secondary sexual characteristics" due to all sorts of reasons in evolution.
If you don't have big enough boobs to compete then you should change dressing styles to emphasize what you do have. Even small t.i.t.s will be admired by a guy if they are shown to their best advantage.
If you have big boobs and guys are always staring - then either dress to deemphasize them or just enjoy the attention.
Why would I (as a guy) prefer small t.i.t.s if I can hang out with bigger ones?

Shape, I think. A woman's shape is very appealing to a guy. If you have a well defined hip-to-waist line or a nice chest, you really look like (and feel like) what we subconsciously expect and want a woman to look and feel like. The same can be said of lips, cheek bones, eyes and hair. A nicely shaped chest is just one of the more popular things we recognize but it's not the only thing.
Similarly, you prefer a guy with a chest that is larger than his stomach, a nice butt (muscular development), legs, nice face, hair, eyes, etc.
It's just about what the opposite sex wants to see and considers attractive
