from the "all the way in" position, how many turns out am i supposed to unscrew the carburetor screw on a stock 2000 Yamaha blaster?

on a warrior i know it is 2 1/2 or 2.5 turns

Is that hose coming from the carburetor? If so, it's an overflow hose, and that usually means you float needle is getting stuck open. You can try just cleaning the carburetor out, or go ahead and overhaul it. Hope this helps. Good luck

Start it at 1 1/2
Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
With the engine running at idle, adjust the screw in and out until you get the smoothest idle.
Then turn it in 1/2 turn in.
