I live in Barhams Place in Wake Forest North Carolina. 5809 Snooks Trail. I need to find the houseplan to that house. Can you also find me the house plans to the other houses in my neighborhood?

You need to go to your local (county) courthouse. The Recorder of Deeds should have information, especially on the land your house is on and adjacent properties.
If you are looking for interior plans, I'm not sure. But I do know that they wouldn't give you interior plans for someone else's house!

Do you have proof that you are the owner of your current place? If so, you to the planning department and they can pull up the information for a charge. Each person paid for the permits when their house was built. I don't think that someone is going to give you permission for free to have a copy of their plans.

If you live in a community where all of the houses were built at the same time, go to the contractor and they will have all of the floor plans for each house.

You should be able to go to the office of the building inspector for Wake Forest and get a copy of the plans as they were submitted before the house was constructed. Some municipalities charge a fee for them, so be prepared to pay that; check with the city offices to see how much they charge.

Such house plans, if they still exist, belong to the persons who paid to have the plans drawn. They are generally not available to the public. You may be able to find a 'floor plan sketch' of your house at the local tax assessor's office, but that's about as much as you are going to find.

Every contractor has to submit the plans to your closest City Hall. Contact them. Chances are, they will make you feel out papers and pay around a $35 fee for the prints.

If it is a new neighborhood, go to the builder.

Also, if you can find an old appraisal, that should have have the floorplan in it.

If both those fail, you are SOL, and will have to recreate it.
