Comand line for running an external hard drive?

im in doss there is only 1 usb its a paasonic toughbook cf-27 whats the comand line?

Both internal and external hard drives as well as CD drives should be accessible when you are in DOS, you will just have to find the correct drive letter.

Just type d: then dir to see what is on the D drive then use the same method to check the E, F, etc drives. Try several letters above C drive as there may be CD drives, card readers, etc that are using some of the lower drive letters.

Are you booted into a DOS boot disk? Or are you just on a Command Windows within the Booted Windows OS?
