Sounds like you might be stressing yourself out and have a fertility related problem at the same time.
First things first, it sounds like you may be a candidate for clomid. (Spelling) For that you will need to see an MD.
Second as someone above me suggested. Stop trying. The harder you try the harder it is to get pregnant. The stress causes lots of fertility problem both in you and in your hubby.

My husband and I are having the same problem. We have been trying for almost 2 years now and we have had no luck. I finally went to the doctor and he said that I was not ovulating. So he put me on birth control and regulate my periods and make me ovulate again. So would just go to the doctor and tell him what is going on. If you take the birth control pills it will regulate your periods and help with ovulation. But the doctor is the only person that can help.

I believe you know ovulation prdictor kits and you are making sure you do sex when you ovulate. Are you? By watching it you can also find out if you are ovulating. If not, I would suggest you go see the doctor.
I have really irregular period but I have bought saliva based microscope which is very cheap option and it is with 1 yr.warranty. It works too.

If traditional medicine isn't getting you anywhere, consider at least talking to a naturopath/herbalist, what do you have to loose. If you are not comfortable with what they suggest you don't have to do it, but most of traditional remedies are about good nutrition when you get right down to it. Most herbs are at least as safe as most prescription drugs, many are safer.

If you have to ask the question, you're probably not ready to start having babies...
