no not really, it would be quite boring I would think, nothing to see but water everywhere for weeks on end

Yes, had always been something I wanted to do, so the year before last I left Galverston TX in my 24 foot sailboat and sailed to my homeland of England via the Florida Keys, Bahamas and Bermuda.

The only time I got bored was when becalmed for 3 days.

Sailed over 6500 nms - longest passage was Bermuda to Plymouth England that took 32 days.

No, but I did cross the Atlantic by telling it it wasn't as pretty as the Pacific.

It used to be a big goal, but after doing some smaller passages, I decided I prefer a good night's sleep to pulling watches day and night.
