can ligers form babys like regular mammals?

Yeah they can, but I dont really know the details sorry. I vaguely remember some biology teachers I work with discussing this and the answer was definitely yes. Sorry cant be of more help :)

According to Wikipedia, female ligers are fertile, but male ligers are sterile. So, you can't mate a liger with a liger.
