I was very close to my dad. 8 years ago he was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 3 months to live. I spent a lot of time driving home to visit him. I was with him when he died.

Shortly after he died I was having a really difficult time. One night I had a visitation in a dream. He was standing at the edge of my bed - he looked very healthy, had a glow around him and his arms were outstretched.

He asked me if I was afraid to die and I answered NO.

He asked me if I died would I want my children to be sad and I answered NO.

He then said to me "Well then Sunshine (a name he used to call me when I was little), don't be sad for me".

The point of my story is that our loved ones are near us after they pass on and they know our worries and sorrows as well as joys and blessings.

Once upon a time there was a woman with a machine gun who said she was looking for a man like you. I couldn't get the gun away from her. She screamed "I'm gonna make love to The Crackernator before I wipe out the universe!!" Then she was gone.

I need you to get the gun. Thanks, pal.

The End

No. You're too dependent with a crack like that. Start looking. Points for at least asking a question that connotes the fact you recognize a need in yourself, though.
