You are totally right. Those that complain about the unemployed (something that is built into our system of supply and demand) and those who are children, the elderly and the permanently disabled, are the same ones who do not see corporate welfare for what it is. Probably because that is how they make their money!

And you are right, Corporate welfare far exceeds the aid we give the poor, AND they are the biggest Welfare Cheats as well. Just ask Haliburton or Boeing!

You need to re-examine your numbers you did not include all transfer payments like SSI Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, lest we forget the other transfer payments made by the states. The system is broke now and socialists like yourself do not appear to be inclined to fix it either. Funny how many rich socialists are around and seek to redistribute everyones money but their own, George Soros, Warren Buffet, Al Gore, and Hollywood are not exactly paupers but wish to redistribute my money. You also need to redefine what Corporate Welfare you oppose, like all that money for spinach farmers, peanut growers in the defense bill. They are corporate also. How about those transfer payments made to illegals who do not pay those Corporate Hospitals. The defense industry gets government contracts are you suggesting that we ban the defense industry for corporate welfare reasons. How about the Tax Code where you can drive a Hummer tax free provided you advertise on it? If we had a flat tax you could get rid of the Corporate interests, but you would also relieve the politicians of their ability to dole out goodies, It took decades for socialists to build the current tax code and it will take decades for radicals like myself and other to dismantle it. As usual you propose only more redistribution, and offer no good solutions

Honestly, the only time it is okay to give to the poor is if they could genuinely hurt or kill you or your friends, such is the case with the mentally ill, or at least thats how people feel. Take a page from these school shooters and kill some people, for any reason you see fit or no reason at all, and the cash will start rolling in.

Can you tell us what Corporation gets hand outs and how much they were given ?

And I don't mean letting them keep their own money by reason of tax cuts.

But actual handouts, where the US government gives them money.

Since when is using your brain, not considered hard work ?

You don't think Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista wrote themselves do you ?

"What Billionaire do you know got rich by his/her personel hard work?"

Bill Gates?

If we're going to end welfare, let's end ALL welfare.

EDIT: I get the distinct impression that you simply don't believe people can achieve success and wealth through hard work, so why even bother asking your question?

Because corperate welfare helps to pay people who are actually working. If not for corperate welfare think of how unemployment would jump up, or do you want your friends working at the grocery store to be getting unemployment?
